Nov. 3 Hearing for Erosion, Stormwater Reg Changes Termed Doubtful

GROTON — It now appears doubtful that the Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing Nov. 3, 2010 on proposed changes in regulations on stormwater management and erosion and sedimentation control, Matthew Davis, planning manager, said.

Mr. Davis told the Sept. 28 Planning Commission meeting that the need for fairly extensive referrals to other agencies on the changes probably will make it impossible to be ready for a hoped-for hearing in November. He said that a hearing at the December Zoning Commission meeting is more likely. The December ZC meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010.
