Mission Of Beech Brook Farm Explained: March 2, 2010

GROTON — Beech Brook Farm Inc., 125 Fishtown Road, Mystic, has asked the Groton Open Space Association to note that the Farm’s mission is to rescue abused and neglected equines, not to make a profit. In addition, Deborah Finco-Kent, owner and president of Beech Brook Farm, has provided GOSA with a copy of a U.S. Internal Revenue Service letter dated Jan. 26, 2010, notifying Beech Brook Farm Inc. that it has been classified as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization under the Internal Revenue Code, with effect from Sept. 1, 2009. We wish Ms. Finco-Kent and Beech Brook Farm success in this worthwhile endeavor.
