Conservation Commission Sept. 14 Meeting Canceled

GROTON — The Office of Planning and Development Services said Sept. 14, 2009, that the scheduled evening meeting that day has been canceled for lack of a quorum. The meeting had been expected to consider a referral from the Planning Commission concerning GOSA’s rules of use for The Merritt Family Forest. The OPDS said that the referral now would be discussed at the next Conservation Commission meeting Oct. 5. The scheduled August Conservation Commission meeting, which originally was to air the referral, also had been canceled.
